Nicole Scherzinger Biography
Nicole Scherzinger is the Pussycat Dolls' lead singer who also is determined to become a solo artist. Nicole Scherzinger was born in the 29th of June, 1978 as Nicole Kea. Nicole Scherzinger is also a songwriter and a model. Nicole has also tried her hand at acting. Nicole Scherzinger is a combination of Filipino, Russian, and Hawaiian blood, as well as German roots on her mother's side.
Scherzinger was born to a Hawaiian-Russian mother and a Filipino father in Honolulu. Her parents went on their separate ways when Nicole Scherzinger was just an infant. Nicole's mother remarried Gary Scherzinger who was a mixture of American and German. When Nicole turned six, the family (Nicole, her mother, stepfather, and her sister Keala) moved to Kentucky. Because of Scherzinger's love of performing, Nicole Scherzinger studied at the Youth Performing Arts School and participated in Louisville's Actors Theatre.

In the year 2001, Nicole joined the talent show "Popstars" which made her part of Eden's Crush, an all girl band. Nicole Scherzinger became one of Eden's Crush's lead vocalists and the group's single entitled "Get Over Yourself (Goodbye)" became a chart-topper in Billboard's Hot 100. The group's label: London-Sire Records, however, closed down, leading to the disbanding of Eden's Crush. After the disbanding, Scherzinger engaged in some solo appearances utilizing her real name Nicole Kea. Nicole Scherzinger sang "Breakfast in Bed" included in the film: "50 First Dates". The said track was produced by Nicole's boyfriend at that time: Nick Hexum whom Nicole Scherzinger stayed with for three years.
In 2003, Scherzinger became a member of the Pussycat Dolls. The Pussycat Dolls are now a very famous singing group, responsible for the hits: "Stickwitu", "Buttons", "Don't Cha", etc. Nicole wrote most of the songs in the Pussycat Dolls albums. Nicole Scherzinger was also the lead vocalist, giving Nicole the title of "Queen Doll".

Scherzinger has an interest in having a solo career aside from her group career. For this reason, Nicole Scherzinger opened her doors to singing duets and making appearances on other artists' tracks. In 2005, Nicole was featured in the tracks of Will Smith, Shaggy, etc. The following year (2006), Scherzinger also sang on Avanti's "Lie About Us" as well as "Come to Me", one of Diddy's hits, which Nicole also co-wrote.

In 2006, Nicole started writing and recording for her debut album which is said to be titled "Her Name is Nicole" and was supposed to be released in 2007, but it did not push through. Some of Nicole's tracks, however, that are supposed to be part of her debut, have been released by artists such as the Pussycat Dolls "Happily Never After", "When I Grow Up", etc. Scherzinger's track "Punch You in Your Sleep", on the other hand, is expected to be recorded by Christina Milan and included in her latest album "Elope".

Nicole's album might be delayed in terms of release, however, the singer said that there is always a right time for her solo album to be launched. Nicole Scherzinger is still working on it though, and is in collaboration with Timbaland, will.i.am, etc. Scherzinger, together with the other members of the Pussycat Dolls has recorded "Jai Ho" in English, SlumDog Millionaire's hit song.
